Ashthorn and Bone's Manifesto

Look, the world doesn't need another "clean" floral scent designed by a board of directors in a skyscraper. You don't live in a ballgown, and you’ve never "frolicked" through a field of lavender in slow motion. Neither have we.

Ashthorn & Bone was born out of a concept. With the need to find a "signature scent," that felt original and perfect to us, we began making our own scents. We wanted to make scents for others, who wanted something unique and different.

 We make scents for the people who belong in the back of a dive bar, the ones with chipped nail polish, and the ones who have never felt "at home" in a department store fragrance aisle.

• THE BOTTLES ARE GREEN. Because clear glass is boring and amber is for pharmacies. We’re the sharp thorn in your side.
• IT’S OIL, NOT WATER. We don't dilute our souls. Our perfume oils are concentrated because if you’re going to stay out until 4 AM making mistakes, your scent should at least have the decency to stay with you.
• REAL INSPIRATION. Our "Dirty Blonde Vanilla" wasn't "curated"—it was inspired by a chaotic blonde girl in the French Quarter who probably owes someone an apology.

We aren't here to help you "fit in." We’re here to help you own the fact that you don't.

If you’re looking for a factory-made, pre-mixed chemical cocktail, you’re in the wrong place. Every single bottle of Ashthorn & Bone is hand-blended, drop by drop, by a real human who probably has too many tabs open.

Why drop by drop?
Because honestly? It helps my anxiety. There is something grounding about the slow, deliberate math of scent—counting out the vanilla, the tobacco, and the vetiver until the chaos in the bottle matches the chaos in my head. It’s not just "production"—it’s a ritual.

• The Base: We use a custom blend of Jojoba and Fractionated Coconut oil. No alcohol, no fillers, no "mystery liquids."
• Organic Intent: We don't buy pre-mixed scent "kits." We blend every profile organically from the ground up. If it doesn't have a soul, we don't sell it.
• Small Batch: We make small runs so we can stay obsessed with the quality. When we say "hand-poured," we mean there is a person with a pipette making sure your bottle is perfect.
